LAG (Local Action Group) Gruppo Azione Locale Alto Oltrepò was born in 1997 to implement the EU Leader II Programme.
Its target area is the territory of 22 municipalities ("comuni") of the Mountain Community of Oltrepò Pavese.

The LAG is a Local Developement Agency that interacts with public institutions, economic operators, cultural associations, healt care organizations, environment associations.

After the Leader II Programme, the LAG. Gruppo Azione Locale Alto Oltrepò is starting the Local Developement Project Leader +, whose goals are the improvement of the quality of living in Mountainous Oltrepò and to realize several projects with funds from European Community and from Regional administrations
